Sheri Bergen, L.M.T
Sheri Bergen has been practicing massage therapy since 1995 when she graduated from Potomac Massage Training Institute. She has a B.A. in German Languages and Literature from the University of Kansas in 1973, did post-graduate studies in Education and Linguistics, and received a Secondary Teaching Certificate thereafter. Sheri taught aerobics for three years as a nationally certified instructor while raising two children. Her curiosity about the effects of movement on the body, mind and spirit, as well as the connection between optimum health and the power of touch led her to study massage. Sheri's practice includes Swedish relaxation massage, myofascial release, and trigger-point myotherapy. Sheri is also a certified practitioner of YAMUNA BODY ROLLING©. She creates functional pottery in her spare time and likes hiking, backpacking, photographing nature, and road biking.
