Rita Offer, L.M.T., B.C.T.M.B.
In her first job working in a nursing home, Rita developed low back pain and was prescribed a series of massages. This not only alleviated her back pain but proved a transformative experience. She felt reborn.
A workshop in foot reflexology inspired Rita to enroll in massage school. The curriculum included shiatsu and energy, as well as Swedish, Deep Tissue and Sports Massage. Later she learned, Thai, Qi Gong Therapy and Cerebrospinal Fluid Technique. In 2003, Allure Magazine pronounced her Thai massage "divine."
Many years of work with occupational health enable Rita to help her clients understand how such factors as repetitive stress and posture affect their body. An ongoing practice of Pilates with an expert instructor deepens her understanding of posture and the body.
