About Sheri

Sheri Bergen has been practicing massage therapy since 1995 when she graduated from Potomac Massage Training Institute. She has a B.A. in German Languages and Literature from the University of Kansas in 1973, did post-graduate studies in Education and Linguistics, and received a Secondary Teaching Certificate thereafter. Sheri taught aerobics for three years as a nationally-certified instructor while raising two children. Her curiosity about the effects of movement on the body, mind and spirit, as well as the connection between optimum health and the power of touch led her to study massage.

Sheri's practice includes Swedish relaxation massage, reflexology, myofascial release, and trigger-point myotherapy. Sheri is also a certified practitioner of YAMUNA BODY ROLLING© for which she offers workshops and classes. She practices yoga, sings with Convivium, a small acapella chorus, loves to hike, and is an avid cyclist.
